🧭 What is NEET UG 2026?

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admissions to undergraduate medical programs like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BVSc, and others.

Conducted once every year, NEET 2026 will be a pen-and-paper-based exam held in 13 languages across India.

⟢ NEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria ⟣

To apply for NEET 2026, you must meet the following requirements:

Nationality

Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & foreign nationals are eligible for NEET UG 2026. Eligibility subject to MCI/NMC and institutional admission policies.

Age Limit

Candidate must be 17 years old on or before 31st December 2026. There is no upper age limit; all qualified can appear.

Educational Qualification

Must have passed/appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech & English. Minimum marks: 50% (Gen), 40% (OBC/SC/ST), 45% (PwD) in PCB.

Number of Attempts

Unlimited attempts allowed for NEET UG under current NTA rules. Eligible students can apply every year without restriction.
