🧭 What is MHT-CET 2026?

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) is conducted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra for admission into undergraduate courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Agriculture in the state.

This is an online computer-based exam conducted every year, usually in May.

⟢ MHT-CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria ⟣

To apply for MHTCET 2026, you must meet the following requirements:

Nationality

Must be an Indian citizen. Certain seats are reserved exclusively for Maharashtra State candidates as per CET Cell guidelines.

Age Limit

There is no age limit for appearing in MHT-CET 2026. Candidates of any age who meet the educational qualification can apply.

Educational Qualification

For Engineering: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM). For Pharmacy: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics (PCB/PCM). Minimum marks required are 45% for General category and 40% for Reserved category candidates from Maharashtra.

Number of Attempts

Applicants must fulfill Maharashtra State candidature requirements under Types A, B, C, D, or E, as defined by the CET Cell for admissions under the state quota.
